MMORPGs LIST

A Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) is a MMOG in the role-playing game (RPG) genre. It is an RPG which is played online (on the internet) by a very large number of people at the same time.

List of MMORPGs:
World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft, often referred to as WoW, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Blizzard Entertainment.
The first expansion set of the game, The Burning Crusade, was released on January 16, 2007. The second expansion set, Wrath of the Lich King, was released on November 13, 2008.
WoW is a fantasy MMORPG and you can pick on of the 10 races and choose your class, complete a lot of quests and fight against the enemie races.



Lineage II

Lineage II is a fantasy massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by NCSoft.
In this game you have the possibility of choosing between 6 races and play with more than 35 diferent classes.
Lineage differs from WoW in PvP. Here you fight for your clan instead of your race. You can also kill a lot of Raid Bosses and fight in Sieges.



Shaiya

Shaiya is a free to play fantasy massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Aeria Games.
This game has 4 races and 6 classes, choose between 4 difficulty levels, and offer the possibilities of raid and fight the enemie races in intense Massive PvPs.



Cabal

Cabal is a free to play fantasy massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).
Great graphics, free to play, 6 classes, Nation Wars, what else to say?



Sword of the New World


Granado Espada, known as Sword of the New World: Granado Espada in North America, is a Korean fantasy MMORPG developed by IMC Games Co.,Ltd., and published in North America by K2 Network.
Rather than playing one character at a time, or using multiple clients, players may control a party of up to three characters at a time, making gameplay similar to a real-time strategy game.
You can also trade your characters with another players and challenge another player's team to duel with your team.



Rappelz

Rappelz is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game, developed by the Korean company nFlavor.
Rappelz is set in a medieval fantasy world, dominated by three races: the Deva, who represent light, the Asura, who represent darkness, and the Gaia, humans that possess an affinity with nature.
Each race has 3 basic classes: warrior class (that divides in 2 kinds of warriors), a magician class (that divides in 2 kinds of magicians), and a summoner class. Rappelz offer the possibilitie to have a pet from 17 different ones.



MapleStory

MapleStory is a free-of-charge, 2D, side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by the South Korean company Wizet. Several versions of the game are available for specific countries or regions, and each is published by various companies such as Wizet and Nexon.
Create your character, level, complete lots of quests and choose your class. Funny graphics. One of the best MMORPGs 2D.



Ragnarok Online II: The Gate of the World


Ragnarok Online 2: The Gate of the World is an upcoming MMORPG created by Gravity Corp. of South Korea and is the sequel to the popular MMORPG, Ragnarok Online. Most of the game's universe is based on Norse mythology.
Now with 3 races, full 3D graphics and a lot of classes.



Rakion

Rakion is an free-to-play, real-time, three-dimensional, fantasy action, room-based online game developed by the South Korean company Softnyx.
There are five different game modes: Stage, Team Deathmatch, Solo Deathmatch, Boss War, and Golem War.There is also a "Basic Mode" option in games, which ignores added stats.
In Rakion, a player may choose from five classes when creating a character: Swordsmen, Archers, Mages, Blacksmiths, and Ninjas.Characters can transform into "chaos mode," a temporary enhancement acquired after attaining a certain number of kills.



SilkRoad Online

Silkroad Online is a fantasy MMORPG set in the 7th century AD, along the Silk Road between China and Europe.he game requires no periodic subscription fee, but players can purchase premium items to customize or accelerate gameplay.
In this MMO, the Silk Road is carefully reproduced, but in a much smaller scale. Completing quests and killing monsters will yield experience points used to increase skills and levels. Not until level 20 can a player choose a job (merchant, hunter or thief) for their character, though characters can switch between the three jobs at any time with a loss of some job experience points.



Guild Wars

Guild Wars is an episodic series of multiplayer online role-playing games developed by ArenaNet and published by NCsoft.
Guild Wars provides two main modes of gameplay—a cooperative role-playing component and a competitive player vs. player (PvP) component.
Players are allowed to create characters at maximum level and the best equipment specifically for PvP play, which is unusual for MMORPGs.



Trickster online

Trickster Online is a free, 2D isometric MMORPG developed by the Korean company Ntreev Soft.
There are 4 classes of characters:
Power Type: This type of characters focuses on physical combat.
Magic Type: This type of characters focuses on casting spells, both for combat and recovery.
Sense Type: This type of characters uses long-range attacks, as well as having bonuses with drilling,and use guns.
Charm Type: This type of characters gets special bonuses to evasion and defense.



Ultima Online

Ultima Online (UO) is a graphical massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), released on September 25, 1997, by Origin Systems.
It is known for its extensive timing-based pvp combat system. This game is classic and it's success was a big step for the current MMORPGs.



RisingForce online


RF Online, originally named 'Rising Force', is a 3D MMORPG developed by CCR.
RFO is currently a free to play game.
Storyline that divides a planet into 3 different societies which are Bellato, Cora and Accretia and battles race vs race.



Dungeons & Dragons Online

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach (abbreviated as "DDO") is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Turbine, Inc.
Standard parties can be up to 6 characters, and Raid parties are up to 12 characters. Characters gain experience by completing quests. Killing monsters will usually increase the size of the experience reward, but are not always central to the reward.
A typical party consists of multiple characters filling roles such as "tank" (fighters, paladins, or barbarians), healer (clerics), caster (wizard or sorcerer), "flank" (rangers, fighters, monks) or "support" (bard or rogue). You can also play in "Solo" quests.



Last Chaos

Last Chaos is a free to play fantasy massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) by Aeria Games.
You can choose between 6 classes, with lots of quests and guild wars.



Soul of the Ultimate Nation (SUN)
Soul of the Ultimate Nation is a Free to Play 3D Fantasy based Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG). The game main features players can utilizes a combat map with partitions that divides players into multiple fields each containing 20-40 characters; the outcome each battle having direct affects on the combat occurring on other fields. SUN also allows players to strategically set the stage for battles by choosing different types of maps, entry numbers, degrees of difficulty and types of monsters for a customized game play experience. SUN has three types of specified maps using a zone map system.


ROSE online

ROSE Online, or Rush On Seven Episodes Online is a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) created by Korean company Triggersoft and was published by Gravity Corp.
The world of ROSE is divided in 7 planets, and each of them with lots of maps.
Other good aspect in ROSE online is the faction system, what means that the player can chose a faction, each one of them with its religion, politics, alliances and enemies.
